Bible Community Church

Pastor Kurt Strong has a Masters of Divinity degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. He and his wife, Bonnie, are from the Freeport area. Their three children are married and are passionately serving the Lord in their own communities. Pastor and Bonnie are blessed with six grandchildren whom they love dearly.

Pastor Strong puts great effort into preaching and teaching God’s Word. Getting to the heart of the Word and making its message clear and applicable to life is the goal of every service and Bible Study. We encourage our people to bring their Bibles to church and to have daily devotions so they learn to walk with God in life.

Pastor Strong also provides free Biblical counseling for personal and family needs. We believe God is sufficient for every need and wants to lead us in working through every challenge. God uses life’s challenges to bring us into closer intimacy with God and to build our faith in Him.

Whenever possible Pastor loves to visit our people to fellowship and pray for our needs. Pastor is committed to helping each of us get involved in ministry because the Lord wants to use each of us in doing His work.
